  • Michael Anderson Goodwin was sitting on a metal toilet in his jail cell, attempting to fix his small TV set, when he bit into a wire and was electrocuted. Ironically, Goodwin had spent many years awaiting South Carolina’s electric chair on a murder conviction before his sentenced was reduced to life in prison.
